Object Finder

The Object Finder locates, for a selected class, all object instances in a project or program. After finding an object, you can instantly go to the object definition in the source code.

• Search for objects belonging to Program, Paragraph, Data Item, Screen (Map), FD entry, DD name, Data File (DSN), Step, Job, Column, View, and Table classes.
• Specify the scope of the search by specifying a project- or program-wide search and by applying object filters.
• View object homonyms -- objects that have the same name but different definitions.
