DBMaker Version 4.1

DBMaker 4.1 is a completely revised version of the software that makes DBMaker SQL 99 compliant, simplifies administration, improves performance, and enhances compatibility. New features are summarized below.

Text index enhancement:

• Added a new text index type: Inverted-File Full-Text Index
• Can now create text indexes on multiple columns
• New options available for creating signature text index
• Exclusive operator "-" for signature and predicate matches

Media type support:

• Supports media type for Microsoft(TM) Word, html and xml

Unicode and more language code support:

• supports unicode NCHAR, NVARCHAR, NCLOB data type
• supports ODBC unicode interface
• supports more LCODE: LATIN1, LATIN2, CYRILLIC and GREEK

SQL syntax support:

• Supports c1 = NULL
• Supports FROM Sub-select

More JDBC support:

• Supports more JDBC interface for JTA and JDBC 3.0

Performance improvement:

• Improves performance for predicate evaluation

System limitation enhancement:

• change predicate total stack size for storing constant or host data from 4K to 64K
